An Old-Timey Christmas Poem

The three poems that inspired this book were written many years ago. Born in Birdston, Texas, in 1895, Gertrude lived most of her life in Corsicana. She collected her poetry in a loose folio she called “Down To Earth” and left it to her family. Her granddaughter published this beautiful book to honour her efforts.
